The decision environment

Logistics converts forecasts and orders into commitments across vehicles, depots, inventory, routes and delivery windows. A delay or constraint in one node changes the feasible choices elsewhere in the network.

Recovering a disrupted high-priority shipment

A shipment misses a connection and its promised delivery window is at risk. Several routes, carriers and capacity options exist, each with different cost, certainty and downstream effects.

The decision model combines service priority, shipment context, live capacity, route feasibility, commercial rules and exception authority. Optimisation proposes alternatives while the service commitment and authorised recovery action remain visible.
